I play Minecraft on Java Edition. I went on Minecraft on 1.13 and went on a world I've been using for ages. It came up with a corruption warning as the last time I'd been on that world was on 1.12. I clicked 'Backup and load' and half my world is missing. It's not just missing though, it's been almost reset. The land is there but all my buildings are gone in one part of my world. That one part of my world is how it was before I built anything. Can anyone help?

You had to have saved the world in a briefcase.
Before starting the map in a recent version, save the world in a folder, if it corrupts, you have Backup.
Thanks, how do I start up the backup?
