I was downloading the runtime from "minecraft updater", and I finished. After a day or two, nothing really happened, until I opened my computer one day to find that even my local programs, especially minecraft, were severely slowed down. Even something like putting my computer to sleep and trying to re log caused my computer to freeze. This may not nessisarily be the new launcher, so im kind of lost. what do I do? even the minecraft launcher would slowly SLOWLY open. local programs would often freeze or take as long to load. Is the new launcher causing this? or something else?
