A while back, I made a world on Minecraft Forge 1.12.2. Some of my best builds existed on this world. Because the MC 1.13 update was recently released, I joined this world while using MC 1.13, not knowing what could happen. Today, I loaded the world in my Forge client again and massive amounts of chunks were missing, and huge portions of my builds were just cut off. Does anybody know the cause of this, of if there's a way to fix it? (I don't have any backups either)

Moderatorif you opened the world in 1.13 then back in 1.12 it will have broken the chunks as there were changes to worldgen/chunk management.
typical rule is never open a world in an older version of the game.
if you don't have a backup of the world you have some building/landscaping to do
Alright... Thanks.
