I don't know what to do. I used to have around 40-ish fps but now I have 17 fps for no reason. I was installing a bunch of mods before, but the game started crashing and I moved to another version, installed mods there and moved to another version and that's when I started to have problems. I thought it was my RAM but it wasn't. I tried turning off the clouds and such but it only brought it up to around 20 fps. After that, I didn't know what else to do so I reset my laptop completely but it still didn't do anything so I don't know what else to do. Any help?
stop allocating a ridiculous amount of ram, 14G is WAY tooo much, try something more sensible like 4G instead of most of the ram in the computer leaving nothing spare for the computer to use itself
Alright. Is that going to give me space for the pc?
Also, I put the mods that I had back in and for some reason, minecraft started working even faster than before and I didn't even use any mod like Optifine or something.

Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.
The three mods that I have are the Minecraft Coder Pack and 2 forge mods for some reason?
More RAM does not mean more FPS, post your JVM arguments.
Post a dxdiag, too http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/pixel-format-not-accelerated/support/
I'm using a different launcher so I don't know how to get the JVM arguments?
