I don't know if there is any more to say other than versions 1.12 and up don't work. I play with 1.8 just fine, but it's just the more recent versions. I'm not sure what to do anymore. I've tried updating Java, restarting my computer, etc. It's kind of frustrating because I wanted to find out what the hype about 1.13 is all about. I was able to play with the snapshot and a bit with the actual version until the next day it just completely crashes after the launcher closes. Any suggestions?

Say something silly, Laugh 'til it hurts, Take a risk, Sing out loud, Rock the boat, Shake things up, Flirt with disaster, Buy something frivolous, Color outside the lines, Cause a scene, Order dessert, Make waves, Get carried away, Have a great day!
Okay, update. I downloaded the more recent version of Java and my Minecraft 1.13 worked. I went into Singleplayer and now it's lagging extremely hard. Is there anything I can do about the performance of my Minecraft singleplayer game? I've already tried all setting options.
