I can play fine with the highest? settings on a remote server. When I try to play locally it doesn't work well at all. IE blocks don't break normally, they take awhile to disappear or go away and then come back and then go away finally so I can collect them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It's 32. Is that the main thing that bogs it down? I feel like the server was at max, because I was able to change it to the highest render distance when playing on the server and it improved things (prior to most recent update). Is a lot of the processing done server side?
Is that the main thing I should change then to improve local playing?

Hi,

Well if you see that your system is struggling, wouldn't it be a good idea to turn some settings down, like the render distance?
Oh yes I understand that. I was just wondering why it acts differently when I play on a server versus my own computer?
Because the sever has its own render setting that overrides your setting, and it's probably something your system can handle.
What is your render distance setting?
