I recently purchased a Realms subscription so that myself and a few friends could have a server to ourselves.
All was well and good until yesterday.
When I tried to load in yesterday the game spent an usually long period of time on the "loading terrain" screen before throwing the java.io exception "An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host".
I get this error whenever I attempt to log on to any realms server. However all other online functionality seem to be working as I am able to join a host of online servers. I might also add that my friends have no issue connecting to the Realm.
I have done the following to attempt to resolve my issue; whitelisted java and MC on my antivirus and firewall, wiped and reinstalled MC, updated java and all my drivers, run MC as an admin, and a few other things.
I'm at wits end here, any help would be greatly appreciated and many thanks in advance.
