so after i finally fixed the last issue, few days later another issue comes up. my friends laptop cant connect to mine but i can connect to his. when he tries to join the game, everything loads but then it gets stuck on loading terrain, then it kicks him out saying either something something io.netty java exception connection reset by peer, now it just says disconnected. It does say he joins the game but it just kicks him out after a few seconds. the only research i found is that it has something to do with packets. Just to let you know no updates or anything have happened on my computer, other than updating java but it started doing that before i did it. Has anyone ever encountered this issue?

my ip did change but that shouldn't effect anything should it?
does anyone have a solution. ive been trying to figure this out for days and i am stumped completely
