I got a new laptop about a month or so ago, and ever since then I am not able to turn while jumping in game. I am able to turn freely while just walking around, though. I'm fairly certain my in-game settings are correct. I'm thinking there must be some setting with my laptop (Windows 10 HOME) that I don't know about that is preventing this. I never had this issue with my old MacBook pro, for what it's worth.
turn off palm protection (or whatever its called in your system) on your mousepads settings
Thanks a lot for the suggestion, but I'm having a really hard time finding anything similar to that in my touchpad settings. I've been searching the internet a bit too to see if I can find the equivalent setting, but I've had no success. I'm running Windows 10 HOME if that makes any difference to anyone reading this.

are you using the touchpad on the laptop?
Yes, I am using the trackpad.
I don't see any reason why I shouldn't be able to get this to work with the trackpad, it always worked on my old Mac
