As if late I realized my mistake and the fact I was actually looking at 1.2.5, my dyslexia switched it around on me so, that was probably the issue (Lol)
However I've gone through and started with a fresh folder of minecraft, I'm using the up-to-date launcher and when I run 1.4.2 my itself it works perfectly fine, however once I add forge to the .jar file it gives me the error (Picture attached). Now I just need to bypass this error and get BicBiomecraft to work in there as that is the main most important mod I want.
I have tried with and without the meta-inf folder and like I said it is an entirely new 1.4.2 jar.
I have also tried modloader and multimc (Neither worked for me, it says on the bicbiome page that it doesn't need it, however I thought I'd try for giggles)
I am running windows 10, however I do not use the windows 10 version of Minecraft, I'm still on Java
and all is said and done and perfect BUT now I have installed forge version 7.8.1.738 for minecraft 1.5.2.
My first issue was I couldn't get it to even start without it giving me a log that minecraft crashed, after days of searching however I finally found the answer and that is to delete the options folder in the .minecraft directory so now that I have 1.5.2 running WITH forge I tried to install BicBiomeCraft by adding it to this .jar which is in my .minecraft/versions/1.5.2-Forge7.8.1.738
Suddenly it isn't working anymore, upon launching it, it gives me a black screen and doesn't move forward from it.
What else do I need to fight with to make this work? BicbiomeCraft was the whole reason I got minecraft and by the time I got it, it was at 1.7.10 and as some of you may know BicbiomeCraft has kinda been dead for a while. Some people tried to make a reboot but I've played them both and its missing so many biomes and mobs and items and whatever else so it's not like I'm actually playing bicbiomecraft. This is what gave me the idea to go back and download 1.5.2 so I could play the silly thing with all its bugs and glory. It requires modloader which I have put into the same .jar file (1.5.2-Forge7.8.1.738) but it doesn't seem to register it however I KNOW the files are there, I just can't figure out why it isn't detecting it, and I think personally I get the black screen because BicbiomeCraft cannot detect modloader even though its there, I also can't seem to get forge to detect modloader either, now I need to know where to go now, my crash logs from before are in the linked post, but like I said they are fixed and I no longer crash with it, now I just need to get bicbiomecraft and few other mods to be situated with each other and I know it can be done (My proof is above yet again in the linked post above) for my new problem it doesn't crash, it just sits at a black screen, I have let it sit for the total of 4 hours and still nothing. I'm coming to wits end, if anyone has tips for me or can point me to someone who can help please let me know.
This is all the info I can give you, and this is what comes up when I close minecraft and this is what I get feedback on game output, I've tried to cipher it the best to my abilities but no luck. I will attach a photo of the black screen below as well.
I have windows 10 however I am running the java edition

and for those who believe heavily in the technic launcher I've already been there, and no mod packs for bicbiomecraft work.

As far as I can tell BicBiomeCraft is only updated to 1.4.2 and if you downloaded it from anywhere else other than the link below many fake mod download sites (which illegally distribute mods) list them for versions which they were not made for (the closest I can find for a 1.5.2 version is a never finished fork which mentions that the original author stopped updating it due to too many issues with updating):
Also, the installation instructions do not mention ModLoader; you only need Forge (version 6.0.1.349 is mentioned).
That said, if you have any other mods installed it could be an incompatibility because I found a crash report with a similar error ("java.lang.IncompatibleClassChangeError: Implementing class") in the aforementioned thread (BicBiomeCraft is not compatible with many other mods due to all the changes it makes):
Yes, I realized my error, I have dyslexia so the whole time I was trying to mod 1.5.2 (I was actually looking at the 1.2.5 version but evidently switched it around) with the bicbiomemod XD
I have started with a fresh minecraft and all, and I am trying to get used to the new launcher, I've gotten everything back to normal but now when I launch the 1.4.2 version alone it works perfectly fine!
However when I open it's jar and put the forge in it gives me an error (I'll include a picture) now I just need to figure out how to bypass this error and then get bicbiomecraft in, and honestly that's just fine if I can't have any other mod, I just want to get the basics working before I try to MAKE things get along
I have tried with and without the metaINF file and nothing has seemed to go through so far.
In order to install mods in the current launcher (mods which are manually installed into the jar; old installers may not work anymore either due to changes to how a custom modded version has to be created) you have to do the following:
1. Make a copy of the version that you want to mod by copying its folder within "versions" and rename it as well as the jar and json files inside, all to the same name.
2. Open the json and search for "id": "1.4.2" (including quotes) and change 1.4.2 to the same name you used in step 1.
3. Search for "client.jar" (no quotes), which will be part of a long URL with random characters, and delete the entire "downloads" section that it is in. Here is an example of what you need to change in the json; everything but the last line, which is the version ID, is to be deleted (at least in the 1.12.2 json I used as an example both of these were right next to each other as shown).
4. You should now be able to install the mod as usual (META-INF does have to be deleted or you'll crash with a SHA digest error), remembering that any reference to the "bin" folder is now the aforementioned version folder that you copied in step 1 (note that it appears that some mods will not work, crashing with an "URI is not hierarchical" error, unless you replicate the pre-1.6 folder structure, I'm not sure how to fix this without using a 3rd party launcher that replicates the old environment).
Sorry for the delay in responses, I've done steps 1, 2 and 3 but for some reason my launcher won't detect the edited version of 1.4.2, this wasn't a problem in the past so I'm not sure exactly why it's being a butt now. I'll play with it more, if you have any tips let me know.

7/22/18 Okay, I posted a thread a few days back (https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/support/java-edition-support/2915348-need-help-with-minecraft-1-5-2-version-2018) and number 1 I fixed my issue and number 2 I figured it out by some genius reddit
and all is said and done and perfect BUT now I have installed forge version 7.8.1.738 for minecraft 1.5.2.

This is all the info I can give you, and this is what comes up when I close minecraft and this is what I get feedback on game output, I've tried to cipher it the best to my abilities but no luck. I will attach a photo of the black screen below as well.
I have windows 10 however I am running the java edition
I am using an older version of the launcher because it was easier for me to navigate it
I'm using 7-zip to open archives and move files for there to there
and for those who believe heavily in the technic launcher I've already been there, and no mod packs for bicbiomecraft work.
For even more information I can say that my forge CAN detect other mods both zips and other .jar files.
I would love to do it old style but as I have a newer version of minecraft I lack a bin file.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
Sorry for the delay in responses, I've done steps 1, 2 and 3 but for some reason my launcher won't detect the edited version of 1.4.2, this wasn't a problem in the past so I'm not sure exactly why it's being a butt now. I'll play with it more, if you have any tips let me know.
