I run a small private server for myself and some friends to play on. We found a seed with a large island and a village at the spawn co-ordinates. We played here for a year before MC1.13 came out. When 1.13 was released, I updated the server. However, due to my inexperience, I didn't know that the biomes wouldn't be regenerated, and that the newly introduced biomes wouldn't generate at all. I went to MCEdit and Chunky to attempt to transplant the island in to a freshly created 1.13 world, as I figured this would be the simplest option with the least issues. However, it seems that the chunks that make up the island are somehow corrupted. No tools seem capable of recognising them. They can be played on, but the fact that I can't modify them means that I can't update our world without losing our creations, as far as I can see.
Can anyone help me out with this? Whether it be with general guidance or someone with experience and skill with the tools performing the task I was trying to do for me, I would be very grateful.
