I've had a problem with Minecraft and it keeps closing after I hit play but then Minecraft shows up but it's not responding. I've tried using the Minecraft installer to delete my Minecraft and repair it, but it has never worked. I've restarted my computer, deleted the .minecraft folder, but nothing is working. and when I try to re-install my Minecraft forge it doesn't work and it keeps showing an error message saying "the files failed to download"
does anyone know how to fix this? I also go into the task manager and it keeps saying Minecraft is running in the background and when I turn it off it used to turn back on, but now it does nothing. I did install mods but this has never happened before! it started happening yesterday and it's been happening ever since. I've waited for it to start up, load, or unfreeze, but it never works! someone, please help! the version I'm using is 1.12.2 but it's happening on other versions too!
