Sorry if this is a noob question, but Ive been struggling to download minecraft 1.13.
Every time I try to do so the launcher just gives me this error:
The game crashed whilst initializing game
Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Initializing game
I tried running it as ambassador and turning off my Avg and nothing seemed to change. When I checked through the log I enabled, it just refuses to upgrade to the next update:

Edited: Reseting all of your minecraft and launcher doesn't fix the problem. Don't worry, I didn't delete anything of value during the process.
