I have allocated 4GB of RAM to MineCraft (which I would think would be plenty).
I have no mods running / installed.
My system, as far as I can tell, meets the (rather low) hardware requirements. (I am using the on board graphics of my motherboard, a Gigabyte motherboard.)
The game starts to create the world, and then crashes a few seconds later.
Post the crash report. Crash reports are found in the crash-reports folder under the .minecraft folder.
Use https://paste.ubuntu.com/

The launcher wasn't really having problems, as far as I could tell, anyway. But I ran into the exact same crash I did before, moments after starting a new world.
1. Well, crap. I was afraid it'd be this. And although I did read the FAQ, evidently I *mis*read a portion of the bit about Intel's auto-detect.
2. I just got my computer back from the 'repair shop.' It was there that I brought in a dying motherboard (identical to this one), and left with a broken $700 video card. He 'fixed' it, though! Up and running! Grr. I didn't know how to check the drivers without just updating them to the latest version. And given how this 'repair shop' had handled everything else, I didn't wanna rock the digital boat.
Thanks for helping; it is working now. I really appreciate it.
In case you're wondering, the Intel auto-detect thing simply said that "Oops, something went wrong!" the first time I did it. I didn't re-try it, and when I did, it correctly identified my system info.
Can I mark this thread as "Solved" now?
Edit: Yes I can. Just had to hit "Edit Thread," which is different from editing the content of the first post.
I read the FAQ.
I have no incompatible software running.
Here's the log from when I try to make a new world:

Oddly, I cannot find any such "crash-reports" folder.
I have "View Hidden Files & Folders" turned on in my folder options.
Here is the text from the JS crash thing, though, when it does crash: (it's the same every time)
https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/c2H4THD5yF/
I don't know if that's any help, but there's no crash-reports folder in the .minecraft folder.
The "logs" folder has a series of [date].log.gz files that have nigh-identical data to the pastebin link in my original post.
Any idea where to get such a crash report, or how to make it generate one?
Try reinstalling the bundled Java.
- disable discord
- run scans with malwarebytes and adwcleaner
As per your suggestion, I uninstalled and reinstalled the whole of Minecraft (and its bundled Java). I tried it more than once, 'just in case.'
Then I installed the latest version of Java from java.com, and tried MC. It didn't work either.
I uninstalled it, and then once again reinstalled MC.
I keep getting the exact same error.
I tried loading fewer chunks, turning down the graphics settings, and so on---just in case there was some weird memory problem.
Turns out that it just makes it crash faster to do it that way.
I really appreciate your help--! Is there anything else I can try?
- Discord was never enabled to begin with.
- Malwarebytes / ADWCleaner say everything's fine & clean.
Try the old launcher.
I downloaded the old launcher (as per the instructions here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/5tdrnw/steps_to_use_the_old_launcher/ )

Thanks, Tails & Conor! Hopefully we'll have this figured out soon.
1. You've said you've read the FAQ, yet your graphics drivers are outdated, read and follow point 4 of https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/support/java-edition-support/2827415-1-12-faqs-read-before-posting
2. Why do you have a very good processor, 16 gigs of RAM, but such a crappy graphics card, eventhough you're trying to run modern games?

The driver thing worked, sorta.
But I don't have dual monitors anymore. X/
A new challenger appears!

No problem, but think about getting a real graphics card, it would be a very good investment.
