The problem just started today. Nothing was added or deleted since yesterday.
Previously, when I clicked on the Recipe Book either on the inventory screen or crafting table screen, attachment 1 shows.
Now, I am seeing this, attachment 2 shows.
How do I get the proper view back?

it has something to do with JEI
uninstall that mod and it will work fine

While, yes, it did "fix" the problem; it is an unacceptable solution.

If the mod is causing the issue then contact the mod author and make a bug report so they can work out a proper solution
