- Tried multiple versions ranging from 1.7.10 to 1.12.2
- YES i am 100% sure that my headphones ARE plugged in.
- Using 7.1 headphhones, specifically the Razer Kraken v1 chroma.
- The program (minecraft) doesnt even appear in the volume mixer, or any other 3rd party volume adjustment software.
- There are no other issues with the device what so ever, all other programs ( about 3 tb of them ) work perfectly.
I have tried:
- Turning the headphones on and off (duh)
- Switching to another sound output source like my 5.1 speaker system or my display built in speakers; nothing.
- Reinstalling the drivers.
- Clearing every single trace of minecraft ever being installed on this PC. Still nothing.
- Reinstalling the game (ikr duh)
- using 3rd party launchers - nothing.
- Installing minecraft on one of those ancient 120 gb hdds.
and much much more... tbh im really about to give up and just play this game on a VM or something....
Just for the record, yes the game is 100% vanilla, no mods, nothing, and please i have tried EVERYTHING my 15 year computer experience gave me, and i have no idea how to fix this.
