How to I keep coordinates visible on the screen, in 1.12.2? I can set them briefly with /tp ~ ~ ~. But I want to see them always, which I do in Better Together.
Say something silly, Laugh 'til it hurts, Take a risk, Sing out loud, Rock the boat, Shake things up, Flirt with disaster, Buy something frivolous, Color outside the lines, Cause a scene, Order dessert, Make waves, Get carried away, Have a great day!
But does not make them visible on the active gameplay screen. At least, it did not for me. Can I get the coordinates to stay on the screen, like I can do in Windows 10 Minecraft? I tried again, an there is a lot of text that does stay on the screen, not just the coordinates. In Windows 10 there is an explicit option to Display coordinates. The coordinates stay on the screen, and only the coordinates. Not all that extraneous text as in Java.
Thats the way it works on the java version, and has been the same for a long time, if you want them up ALL of the time, either leave the F3 screen up, or install a mod that puts them on screen without the F3 screen

Done! Thanks! However, the curse and forge websites are extremely dangerous! Deceitful, bully pop-ups that indicate required downloads need to be eliminated from these add-on sites!

These sites are safe, you're likely infected with malware.

I got infected from these sites, somehow. I don't see how all those popups can be safe! The pop ups are beyond normal ads. I also went to the Fossils and Archeology site, which I think is an ad on site. I did run Malwarebytes, and there were quarantined files it picked up. I see Malwarebytes at the link you sent. I already had it.
Update: first dangerous popup. The option to Skip, upper right hand corner of the image below, did not work. Task Manager was the only way out. I was in Google Chrome.
Some mods have direct download links or links to GitHub. As to coordinates, If you use Forge, JourneyMap should be in your list. I prefer LiteLoader and I use VoxelMap. Both with show you an in-game radar map. Both have the option to show you your coordinates along with this map.
It wouldn't hurt to suggest Java Edition puts in a toggle like the one Bedrock Edition has "built-in" with Vanilla.
I was able to get, and use, JourneyMap. I looked at LifeLoader and VoxelMap info, but not yet YouTube. Thanks for the info.
Update: I have Java version 8 update 144 (build 1.8.0_144_b01) . At YouTube Capstones video for VOXELMAP 1.12.2, I see Java 9. My forge file is similar the file at the video, except for the last 4 numbers: video .2491, mine ends with .2705
Do those differneces in Java and Forge matter?
I was able to get LiteLoad and Voxel to work in 1.12.2. When playing in that version, the Mods button disappears from the settings. See screenshot below. 1) How my garden looked using before LiteLoad and Voxel, but JourneyMap. 2) The garden disaster after running with LiteLoad and Voxel! This happened with, and later, without Journey map in the mobs folder.

Press F3 to shows the debug and the coordinates.

Where do I find a mod that has only the coordinates?
Try Batty's Coordinates PLUS! Mod.
Download it here: https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/batty-ui

Run a scan with AdwCleaner and remove any malware found. Download it here: https://toolslib.net/downloads/finish/1/
