Like the title says, anything before 1.8 has no sound, the files aren't downloaded with both the new launcher and the old 1.6.89j launcher, is there any way to fix this or if not, links to download the sound files on there own.
Just tried that, no sound. I looked into the files and any sound or music in there is missing, not even the old java launcher is downloading them.
