I start up Minecraft after playing it every day for about a week and I get this:
Unable to locate the Java runtime.
Error details: The system cannot find the path specified
Filename on disk: javaw.exe
Path: C:/Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_25\bin\javaw.exe
Exists: false
I can fix it by changing the runtime to 1.8.0_51 but when I load up Minecraft, it's as if I've never played before. I haven't messed with the settings yet because I might never be able to access my worlds again
No. I open up Program Files (x86) > Minecraft > runtime > jre-x64 and where theres supposed to be a file called 1.8.0_25, there's only a file called 1.8.0_51 and there's no data.

Did you create separate game directories?
