I just tried to configure some old worlds to work on my 'new' pc (which i have run mc on many times before). Now the game will only properly launch (without crashing) about 50% of the time, and when it does, I cannot load any worlds. I have tried removing the old game files, opening other saves, deleting all the game files i can find and re-installing (twice), making new worlds and even playing on various servers. None of these have worked :(, either ending with "not responding", or just getting stuck on "building terrain" forever...

I changed the version to 1.0 and it worked, i'll try some other versions when i get home (from being away)

I'm pretty sure it's working now. I don't know what I did (maybe closing discord) but now it is working fine?!?
