So my brother tries to connect to my LAN game, connection timeout: no further info. Googled it and find its firewall related so follow online steps. In "Allow a program through firewall" I had added "Java(TM) Platform SE binary" with the path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_25\bin\javaw.exe" and set it to allow both Private and Public. I read/watched about a dozen different things and they all said to do this and that should fix it.
I have Norton and in Norton, Settings, Firewall, Program Control, the same java executable is also set to allow.
When he, or I are trying to connect the error still comes up and I have no idea what to do.
