I have not played the game in a long time, and I started playing on a new computer. While playing java edition, I have noticed that my aim is a little... off. I noticed it when playing hunger games. I was trying to shoot a guy with my bow, and it felt impossible. I thought it was me at first, but when i went to a single player world i noticed that sometimes my mouse just... jumps a little bit. My aim kinda just moves slightly to much whenever I move the mouse. Its so subtle, that i feel like Im going crazy. But when I play bedrock edition i do not feel like Im having the issue. Does anyone know whats going on?
If you need any kind of information (logs and such) to figure out whats going on, Id be happy to supply them. (Though I might need a little help retrieving the needed information, because the launcher is a lot different than i remember it being.)
EDIT
For anyone reading this with a similar issue, let me tell you what I did t fix it. I initially thought that changing my mipmap, VBO's and VSync helped, but the issue still persisted. I noticed that VSync helped a lot (but we all know playing with VSync isn't a smart idea.) I had my fps capped at 100, so I checked what my fps was at and it was dipping. So I continued moving it up until it was at a point where it had some... wiggle room? I basically set it to unlimited and it fixed the issue.
Or maybe its just your mouse sensitivity when playing 2 different games coded differently in 2 different languages which while look alike are not the same?
And possible the fact your on a server and servers have lag
Point 2 was not my issue (Though it did give me the answer to a separate question I had.) What DID answer my question was the section talking about setting mipmap to 0. That seems to have fixed it. If it has not, I will make another post with more info. Thank you.
