Let me start with saying this is technically not an in-game issue but I don't know where else to go since the account support redirect on this forum would return me to the problem I'm having.
When I first bought my minecraft account it was with an email I can't even begin to remember. The support system says if you don't know your old email and would wish to migrate your minecraft account to a Mojang one, you'd have to use your old email to find a transaction ID. Which obviously isn't possible if you don't know your old email. I sent an email to Mojang explaining the loop I'm stuck in and they replied with an automated message telling me to go to my old email to find the transaction ID. I'm honestly at a loss and I don't want to drop another 30 bucks or whatever for a new copy of the game just to access features like changing my skin or using the realms.
