I thought it would be easier to access my .minecraft folder if i moved it to my desktop. I loaded up Minecraft and the "Play" button in the News tab did not have Forge or the snapshot in my versions. I clicked Play anyway and all of my worlds were gone. So I checked my .minecraft folder i moved to my desktop and all of my worlds were still in the saves folder along with my versions. I did some research and i found that other people did this as well, but they simply moved the folder back and everything returned. I moved my .minecraft folder to AppData and then Roaming but when I re-opened Minecraft the versions and worlds still were not there. I noticed I have 2 AppData folders so i tried the other but it did not have Roaming and none of my versions came back. I have also tried putting it in every folder within Roaming but to no avail. I have also Logged in and out of Minecraft with the folder in the right place but nothing is coming back. I have also double checked that all my worlds and versions are still in the .minecraft folder and they are, there is also nothing in my Recycle Bin. Could someone please help me with my dilemma? I have worked hard on my worlds and I would like them back :).
Thank you,
