Mods installed (That Work): Optifine 17.10_HD_U8, DynamicLights 1.7.10, Damage-Indicators-Mod-1.7.10 and Baubles-1.7.10-1.0.1.10 (Within a folder called 1.7.10 created when installed)
I've installed Mod into Minecraft that work, however adding another mod sich as not wnough items results in the launcher crashing. Upon moving the mode (NotEnoughItems-1.7.10-1.0.3.67-universal) from the Mods folder, the game fuctions as intended. Upon looking at various instructions telling me to drag the .jar file to the mods folder, it doesn't work. Other mods such as Tinker's Construct, Blood Magic don't work.
Not Enough Items requires another mod to be installed as well, called CodeChickenCore. I'm a little concerned about where you might have downloaded NEI from, because 1. if you'd downloaded it from the official page (https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding-java-edition/minecraft-mods/1279956-chickenbones-mods - check below where it says "Old Post") you might have already known about that, and 2. the latest build of NEI for Minecraft 1.7.10 is 1.0.5.120-universal.
Similarly, Tinkers' Construct requires a library called "Mantle".
I'm not familiar with Blood Magic, but newer builds seem to require a mod called "Guide-API". On the other hand, the 1.7.10 download from CurseForge doesn't list it as a required library, so there might be something different happening there. Maybe you could post a link to a pastebin of your logs from trying to launch that one.

I got NEI from a website called CurseForge. TBH Im new to doing mods on minecraft and I;m absolutely confused. Thank you so much.
CurseForge is a good site, but I'm still confused that you grabbed version 1.0.3.67 of NEI - if you had used the 1.7 download link or the main download button, you would have gotten 1.0.5.120.
Also, when manually downloading mods from there, it's often a good idea to click on the filename first instead of the download arrow, since the file details may show a changelog and any required mods. I notice that NEI 1.0.3.67 does not mention the CodeChickenCore requirement there, but I'm guessing that was a mistake on the part of jadedcat, who is listed as the uploader for that particular version, while most of the others were uploaded by the author chicken_bones.

What to do?
