Im not sure where im supposed to put this thread so i thought this is the most appropriate one for it but I used to have Minecraft java edition on my old laptop, but i moved on to roblox, then fortnite and now i was planning on playing minecraft with my cousin again, however i have a new laptop and i got the minecraft installer on it, but when i open it and it asks where i want to download the game and i click next it says "installation directory must be on a local hard drive" so please help.

And which directory are you trying to install it to?
im just installing it on the default folder
