I'm wondering if Mojang has fixed the authentication error issues with people trying to log in to Minecraft. I see other people on the forum posting like everything has gone back to normal, but I'm still unable to log into my account, getting the error "Login failed.

". I've requested a password reset, and the email never showed up; not in my inbox, nor in my spam folder. I'm running a legitimate Minecraft account, from a gift card I activated back in 2013. I appreciate any information I may receive, so thanks in advance.
Through process of elimination, and creating a new account under a different email address, I've come to the conclusion that I've been hijacked. I've contacted Mojang, and I apologize for wasting your time today, fellow moderator. Please close this thread for me and thank you. Have a nice day.
