I've tried some youtube tutorials but nothing seems to work. Is there any way to install Optifine without having to use Java? I have the java version of minecraft, just not the java program itself, and won't get it due to the unnecessary security concerns it raises.
the bundled version of java is still java, its just pre downloaded with the game, if you don't want java due to security reasons then uninstall minecraft too as it has and needs java
Interesting, thank you for that! I'm just concerned because I heard that it's a very vulnerable program that's easily hackable. Maybe I'm just overreacting though haha
