UPDATE 6 (29/5 23:24 UTC): Login issues should be resolved now.
UPDATE 5 (28/5 10:02 UTC): Mojang is investigating issues with joining multiplayer games.
UPDATE 4 (24/5 23:03 UTC): We're seeing increased reports of players not being able to log in or join multiplayer servers ("Failed to refresh login" / "Failed to login:Invalid Session (try restarting your launcher)"). We've passed this onto Mojang and hopefully they'll investigate.
UPDATE 3 (24/5 09:18 UTC): Services should now be back to normal. If you are still having issues logging in, please see this article on what you can do.
UPDATE 2 (23/5 15:10 UTC): Unfortunately login issues seem to be back - Mojang is currently investigating. You might also not be able to change passwords/emails.
UPDATE: Issues with inviting people to realms should be resolved. If it's still not working for you, please reply with the following information:
Your Minecraft username
The Minecraft username of the person you're trying to invite
Your Realm name

There's been some problems at Mojang's login servers today, which means you may not be able to log into Minecraft at the moment.
Mojang is currently investigating. There is NO ETA when services will be back to normal.
(Earlier on, some users were getting "Invalid IP" errors when trying to log into Minecraft. We're not sure if this is related to the current issues at hand, but Mojang has told us this has been fixed.)
Im still unable to invite people to my realm. I am getting an error saying "could not invite the provided name", however I know that the names are correct.
