Hi, just wondering why Minecraft needs to use a lot of CPU and GPU power- like 90% of my i5-7400. It's lagging so much.
So the first pic is when I don't have minecraft running. As soon as I go into singleplayer in a world I just created, it turns into the second pic.
Basic System specs
-------------------
CPU: Intel Core [email protected]
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050
Memory: 16GB DDR4
Memory allocated to MC: 6GB
Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.
JVM arguments: -Xmx6G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=16M
Turn down your render distance, disable GeForce experience overlay.
Any idea on how to do that?
UPDATE: Disabled overlay, turned down RD to 16 chunks, cpu usage stays the same.
