So I recently built another PC for my wife to play some games on, and she really wants to play Minecraft. It's a clean install of Windows 7, clean install of MC 12.2.2 on a clean hard drive. Every time I click the big play button, it just immediately says "Game crash. An unexpected issue occurred and caused the game to crash". I'm not sure where the crash logs are located as its been a long while since I have dealt with issues in Minecraft. I'll post PC specs below.
There is literally no folder or file in that filepath called crash-reports. How is anyone supposed to t/s with no crash log available? There IS a launcher_log.txt in there, will that help?
Look for a file named "hs_err_pid[numbers]" under the .minecraft folder and post it here. Use https://paste.ubuntu.com/

Say something silly, Laugh 'til it hurts, Take a risk, Sing out loud, Rock the boat, Shake things up, Flirt with disaster, Buy something frivolous, Color outside the lines, Cause a scene, Order dessert, Make waves, Get carried away, Have a great day!

There is nothing called "hs_err_pidXXX" in there either. I even just checked all the subfolders.

Post an output log by following this guide.
Doing that just gives me "Waiting for log output" and never gets any data.
