Hello! My sound doesn't work on versions under 1.7.10. I don't know why because these versions haven't been downloaded yet(When you reinstall and gotta download again). Anyway to fix this?

Use separate directories for older versions of Minecraft.

How do you get Minecraft to use the old client?
Download it from minecraft.net.
Where would I find it on there? All it says is download minecraft, nothing about the old client
