As you probably saw by the title, my game's lagging! Now you may be wondering what trashy specs my PC supposedly has, and that's where the confusion for me starts. You see, I have what most people would call "mid range", or even a bit on the higher end spectrum. On this particular map though, my game only manages about 20fps and under, unless if I'm staring directly at the ground. Even worse, I already allocated 4gb of ram to the game, and there's no difference at all!
RAM: Avexir - Core Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
HDD: Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
SSD: Crucial - MX300 525GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
GPU: Zotac - GeForce GTX 1070 Mini
Case: Carbide Series 88R MicroATX Mid-Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
I'd put the case fans I have here, but I can't remember the exact type they are. They're a type of SP120 fans though, which is all I know about them.
Anyways, back to the topic. Does anyone know a way of making the game run better? I try to balance the quality and performance, so that I can see stuff clearly but also avoid the given risk of major frame drops.

Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.
JVM args: -Xmx4G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=16M

Turn on VBOs, turn off GeForce experience overlay.
But main issue is, there are more than 1000 entities in that area. Anything beyond 1000 entities brings down your fps very quickly.
