I started playing this one modpack and have recently ran into issues with the game seemingly to randomly freeze. On vanilla my pc can hit upwards of 1200 fps on high settings. My specs are below.
OS - Windows 10 64bit
CPU - i5-6600K Quad core ~3.90Ghz
GPU - Asus DUAL OC 3GB GTX 1060
32 GB of ram (3GB of this is allocated to the modpack)
Its very annoying as the game freezes for 2 seconds every 10 seconds. Has anyone ran into an issue similar to this or have a solution?
I run into this on my low end mac. I feel like you have too many mods... how many exactly? If you are playing a crazy large modpack, get fastcraft or optifine to stabilize it. Even high-end pcs can get weighed down by mods

Technically the mods I am running are compiled into one. Because in the mods folder there is only two mods, the actual mod with all of the features and the other is just for voice chat.So I wouldnt think this would be the problem. I could try something like that though.
What does your java arguments look like? Sounds like it could be poor garbage collection.
I ran the mod minecraft with just the normal 1GB and it still occasionally froze. Args ook like this: -Xmx1G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=16M

Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.

Oh yeah allot more memory you’ve only given it 1 gig of ram?
I was giving it 8 (Normally) then I tried 3.5 (Still froze) then tried 1 (Still froze)
