Hello. For some reason, some part of the ground disappears when I break blocks. I am trying out Minecraft via the demo version to test if my new laptop can handle it. (The tag says 1.12 but this is actually a 1.13 snapshot, it still occurs even in different updates.)
EDIT: Updating Java to the latest version seems to have fixed it. Hopefully at least.

Toggle VBOs, turn off mipmapping.
I tried doing that, trying to change the mipmapping setting crashes the game.
EDIT: Nevermind. I tried editing it manually in the .minecraft folder and now it's fixed. Thanks!
