Hey, I've recently opened a new 1.7.10 server with over 130 mods, numerous people have been having the same crash and I have no idea whats causing it or how to fix it, if anyone could help me out I would appreciate it.
Don't know much about stuff like this but a google seems to show a lot of people have similar error, with many suggestions stating that it's a mod/plugin that's trying to 'store' xx items (in your case 46) into an array that's not large enough (size:46 means 0-45), but with 130 mods installed it would be difficult to determine which one is causing the problem
These lines seem to indicate that MineFactoryReloaded was 'Unloaded/Disabled' so could possibly the problem

seem to point towards a 'misbehaving transformer' (whatever THAT is), but at a guess since these lines appear after

Yeah, I've been trying to find a solution on google but all i've found was size 45, and it was related to WAILA and buildcraft, which i have both, but the issue isn't surrounding buildcraft, its random
I had one person using a bucket to pick up lava, and it crashed them
Ignore the disabled parts of Mine Factory, those are compatibility modules that the mod uses to work with other mods, since those other mods are not loaded, it unloads the modules since they aren't needed.
I'm not sure about the misbehaving transformers part, but it's mentioning better fps, do you have that mod loaded? If so, disable it and see if the crash still happens, though it would be a long shot, I don't see it in the list of loaded mods, so not sure why it's mentioned there.
I also see Optifine is loaded, another long shot, but disable that as well.
Is this a modpack from FTB or something? If so, I'd say ask the author of the modpack, see if they know anything. The other option would be to ensure you have the most recent version of each mod for that version of Minecraft. Other than that, I have no other ideas.

Hmm may be a long shot but since you had it crash with 'tinkers controller' (whatever that is) & another player crashed when using Lava (Which I believe Tinkers has a lot of uses for lava for smelters etc according to their Wiki)... perhaps Tinkers is the problem ??
looking at the list of file for the mod, there seems to be a newer [alpha] version TConstruct-1.7.10-1.8.8.build991.jar that is a 'Dev version supporting a tweak API for some modpacks.' - perhaps one of the mod in your pack needs this version ??
I made a Test version for both lite and full version, ive only had one person test it so far and they haven't crashed yet, could be a good sign. Hopefully will get some more people to test it today
Something's up with BlayTheNinth's 'Trash Slot' for 1.7.10, got the same index 46 crash every time I closed out of checking the recipe for an item (NEI) until I removed Trash Slot, that would have had to be the main culprit out of your three, your post helped me narrow it down though sry for necroposting

Maybe someone else has a better idea

I just got the same crash when placing down a tinkers controller

What happens if you disable Tinkers mod ??
Incidentally I notice you have TConstruct-1.7.10-1.8.8.jar,

The pack was created by me, I've removed optifine due to copyright issues but the issue is still happening (more often I'd say..)
I'll try removing betterfps and updating tinkers construct, hopefully this works, people are constantly crashing and getting the same crash report
currently have betterfps on the server, so I've just updated tinkers for now, if it still crashes people I'll test betterfps
It would appear to me that this is a mod incompatibility issue / conflict issue.
Cheers,

updating tinkers didnt change anything, the issue also happens when someone eats bread
ive read somewhere that NEI plugins crash people often, ill try removing those from the pack to see if it changes anything
I've removed WAILA Plugins, Trash Slot and NEI Integration, ive made a seperae modpack version so people can test if it helps.
Post a link to the modpack, I'll give it a test if I get a chance.

Ran it for a while, and it worked OK for me. Might be one of those things that's hard to nail down, or only happens on specific systems.

Yeah, I only crashed from it once, but then also had other people crashing from it every 10 minutes
Anyway, removing those 3 mods seems to have fixed the issue, thanks guys
