I have recently made a custom modpack and now when i play it on my server i get fps drops when opening chests or inventory. It gets worse the longer i play, what can be the cause? I suspect waila or nei but it is Only i that get this fps drop and my specs arent that bad
That is unavoidable with such large modpack. The lagspikes with just be shorter with a large gui. If you want to remove the lag spike completely, remove NEI and install a recipe book.
Okey thanks fort the help. The only thing i still cant understand is that my friend that plays with me on the same modpack doesn't have this lag, and my computer is better than his.
Are you running programs like chrome, opera, or skype? They drain a lot of processing power even when minimised. Try only running core programs like your anti-virus.

Specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40 GHz
RAM: 16 GB
Windows 10 64x
Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 6GB
Mod list attatched
.
How much ram do you have given to minecraft? If, more than than 6gb, decrease to 6.
Install optifine, betterfps, and stackie.
Decrease your render distance.
Kill unnecessary programs like Skype or Steam.
Okey i have now done so and you can see on the printscreen the spikes i get everytime i open my inventory.
The lagspike is due to the nei having to load sprites onto your screen. To decrease it, up the size of your gui, so it loads less sprites.
Well i do still get the spikes even with the GUI set to large

It does not help to close these programs
Are your graphics card drivers up to date?
Yes they are updated recently.
