I have a big problem : I want to use a modpack (AEONs) and when I load the game via TLauncher with Forge, it stay stucked to 1011Mb max. So I was looking for a solution and I saw that I don't have enough RAM allocated to Minecraft. But when I go to the settings of the launcher, the max RAM allocated is 1022Mb and it seems that I can't go higher In the JVM argument I wrote "-XX:MaxPermSize=3000M" like the exemple on the line... And when I launch the game, it stay stucked to 1011Mb. (See the pics)
I really don't know what to do ! Am I doing something wrong ?
Update 2 : OK, I think I found the problem... I'm running MC on Java x32bit. My system is on x64 so I need to upgrade Java to x64 to be allowed to allocate more RAM. I will see if it changes something.
IT WORKED!
SOLUTION : update Java to x64 by downloading Java(offline) x64 on Java's website. You will now be able to allocate 3G of your RAM
