I'm able to log onto any server, but when I try and join my brothers LAN server I get this error... "io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception: connection timed out: no further information".
I am desperate for an answer. Also, when answering please answer in as much detail as possible due to the fact that I'm a complete noob. : )

One or both of you need to try disabling the firewalls on your PC's
Will try soon...hopefully it works
If turning it off works, turn it back on and make exceptions for Java. If the firewall wasn't the issue, let me know.
