I am trying to import an old account to my new account in order to keep my old account's username. The question I have is will my UUID reset? I want to have a fresh new start on all servers. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. If it is not the case, then would the only way to change UUID and keep my name is to change the name on my current account, wait 30 days, then purchase Minecraft again with my new account?
Iirc you can't merge 2 accounts. It's one account per email. So if you want to keep the name then you need to use the name transfer. You can't just change uuid whenever you want as that defeats the whole point of it. Try not to get banned on servers then you won't have this issue again.
Many servers still keep name logs so keeping the same name won't help at all.
If you truly want a fresh start do so and get a new name aswell.
If you need to change the name due to being harassed or similar speak with Mojang and see if they can do something to help.
Anyways, I haven't been playing Minecraft since for over 3 years now. I don't remember what servers I was banned on, but I for sure did get banned on some (I'm dirty, I know ). I'll probably just wait 30 days and change the name since I like it so much lol. Thank you so much @webrosc
