Hi, I don’t know where to put this thread but I have a question. I attempt to login to my Minecraft account and it says login failed incorrect username or password. I find that strange because I typed in the correct account details and it said login failed. Then I wait for an hour and try it and it still says login failed. I wait an hour try again and so on for a good 5 times and it failed to work. Then I wait 24 hours once then it failed to work. Then I changed my password and I waited another 24 hours and its still yet to work. At this time I have contacted Mojang Customer Support but they are still biewing cases from January, It’s taking a while for them to reply so I made a thread here.
Please Help ASAP. (Note: this has been going on for 6 days)
I made this account in 2013. I login with email. Have not tried logging in with my username(IGN)
i can login perfectly fine with my account details on Mojang but I am trying to login to the launcher and its failing to work.(by the launcher I mean I click Minecraft on desktop)
Your information is faintly vague, try to respond and think, for any other information you can give.
I'll give you a few question, please try to explain and add on if something comes to mind.
Since when have you created this account? (if Old, have you migrated to the new account that requires email).
What are you using to login with, Username. or Email? (It's critical to know you can only login with your email after being migrated.
What website are you trying to login? Minecraft.net? Mojang, The launcher?
None of this is worth asking as you can't do anything to fix account issues as only Mojang can do that. The only thing the op can do is wait for Mojang to reply and then help fix the issue.
