I got tired of piggybacking off a friends account so I decided to purchase my own minecraft account. I go to minecraft.net and click "BUY MINECRAFT". Then an error pop's up stating that the authentication has failed and "We could not authenticate you against our servers. Please try to log out and then log back in again." I tried clearing cache, cookies, different browsers, tried to purchase from a mobile browser on LTE still no luck, I even tried a VPN with the same results. Eventually I had the "brilliant" idea to check the Microsoft store because I thought they may have just migrated it all there. So I purchsed the windows 10 edition and uninstalled under 5 minutes. Basically I just want to see if anyone else is having this issue?
EDIT: Sorry wrong Forum section, im tired and so I figured this is probably a server issue with Mojang then realised this "server" section is for minecraft servers.
In the future if you have problems using a company's website to buy something direct the issue to them directly as they would be the only people who can help, this forum is not affiliated with Mojang and no one here can solve any issues with Mojangs website or any account issues
