Something very wrong happens after the game crashes for any reason while my mod is loaded, and I don't really have an idea why. It appears it may have something to do with MCF-1468, as my shutdown hooks are not being called before the JVM crash, however even if I completely remove my shutdown hooks, the JVM crash still occurs.
Edit: still occurs even if my mod is not loaded by forge. It's probably not a bug with my mod, but some issue specific with my system... I'm going to request this be moved to modified client support since it is not an issue with my mod.

Fixed after updating my graphics drivers and then resetting all graphics settings to their factory defaults.
