So I opened minecraft to play on my survival world, and when I went into the singleplayer tab I couldn't see the world that I wanted to open. I went to the Saves folder and the world save was there, so I tried restarting minecraft, but the save still didn't show up in the singleplayer tab, so I tried to make a copy of the world save, refreshed the singleplayer tab, but that didn't work, I also tried to restart minecraft again, but it still wont show up. Is this a known issue, or some sort of glitch that has a simple solution (or any solution). Hopefully this can be fixed without me having to start all over again.
