08:33:49 launcher Preparing to launch minecraft client for 1.12.2
08:33:50 launcher Checking installations.
08:33:50 launcher Minecraft client 1.12.2 is ready to start.
08:33:50 launcher Starting!
08:33:50 launcher Using default game log configuration client-1.12.xml (outputs XML)
08:33:51 bib Setting user: SacaenSteppes
08:33:53 bib LWJGL Version: 2.9.4
08:33:54 cev Reloading ResourceManager: Default
08:33:54 chm Starting up SoundSystem...
08:33:54 chm Initializing LWJGL OpenAL
08:33:54 chm (The LWJGL binding of OpenAL. For more information, see http://www.lwjgl.org)
08:33:54 chm OpenAL initialized.
08:33:55 chm Sound engine started
08:33:58 cdp Created: 1024x512 textures-atlas
08:34:00 com.mojang.text2speech.NarratorWindows Narrator library for x64 successfully loaded
Java ver. 8 update 131
The problem is simple. Any time I launch minecraft from the launcher, I can interact with it for ~3 seconds before I stop being able to interact with it. The window does not stop responding or freeze(I can tell because the title screen is still animated), and my mouse cursor will still pass over the window. I can click the exit, minimize, and maximize buttons just fine. If it happens while my cursor is over a button, the button will stay highlighted even if I move my cursor away, but I will not be able to click it. In gist, the client has effectively rendered itself unplayable. Please assist.

Starting in Administrator Mode worked. As per usual. Pretty not-great coding if you ask me. /thread
