I just got back into Minecraft after a few years and was hoping to begin a new world with some of the mods i played with back in the day, but after several attempts i havent been able to get the game running on 1.10.2 with forge. The game wont pass the Mojang Logo, an error message pops up saying Java(TM) Platform SE has stopped working. I have updated Java to 8, given Minecraft more RAM and tried both the new and older launcher. And it still won't work.
