A couple of months ago, my friend tried to launch Minecraft but it didn't even open the game, the launcher just popped back open and said the game crashed after about 10 seconds. We dismissed it as a bug and tried playing other games. Now, we tried playing Minecraft again, and he had the same issue. This time, we decided to dig deeper into the problem but we couldn't find any information about it, so, logically we decided to do what you'd normally do to try and fix games. After making sure his computer had the minimum specs, newest drivers and java version, and even completely removing then redownloading the game, it would still have the exact same issue. I was wondering if anyone knew how we could fix this so he could play again, and if you do I would greatly appreciate a reply.
Please note that he is on windows 8 and I think that could potentially be a problem but it's highly unlikely
On your launcher, click "Launch options", and click the instance you are using. Then, click the small green arrow in the "Game directory" line. In the folder that opens, open the launcher_log file, and copy its content to http://paste.ubuntu.com. Click "Paste!", then share with us the link (the URL) that it takes you to.
