Hey,
So I recently decided to play some Minecraft after a year or so
and my game lags super hardI used to play with about 100+fps
now even with v-sync off (my screen will tear with v-sync off) and lowest settings I still only have 20 something fps
Ive tried allocating more RAM
reinstalling Minecraft, Java
restarting Windows
researched for 3 hours and had no helpful information
Here are my specs. Please help me!
Windows 10 Home
Nvidia 960M 4GB
64 bit processor and OS
Intel Core i7-4720HQ Cpu @ 2.60GHz
16GB RAM
Post a screenshot with F3 enabled and your JVM arguments.
With your ingame options (if you haven't tried this already) set your framerate max to unlimited
Also try removing your resource pack
~ Everybody's FavouriteDragon
I tried changing it to unlimited
doesn't help framerate
also if I do that
screen starts tearing
I don't use a resource pack or any mods
Arguments:-Xmx3G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M
how do I post the screenshot?
the image thing says "Source"
what does that mean?
Change your JVM arguments to this: -Xmx3072M -Xms3072M
Why 3g allocated. Vanilla needs 1g max really. More ram DOES NOT mean more fps.
Actually, my minecraft kept freezing until I allocated more RAM

A simple Google search would answer your question in seconds. But since you still haven't provided the screenshot, have a tutorial http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/forums/forum-discussion-info/512412-tutorial-how-to-upload-pictures-to-minecraft
