1. turning off firewall.
2. changing computers.
3. changing accounts.
4. uninstalling minecraft.
5. using a different version.
6. allowing the port exception.
I get the message "connection timed out no further information"
timed out means that the connection is not fast enough as you say you can connect with a VPN it means that the VPN is able to bypass the bottleneck in the pipeline. Try running a MTR test
Ohh wrong message i meant "cant reach server"
