I'm sure everyone on here has heard this question before, but i have this issue with the game. I've made post in the past on here but got no help whatsoever from anyone because no one bothered to comment, the problem i have is my frame rate is bad, i lag terribly while walking, looking around, or doing anything really. When i rotate the screen it looks like a stuttery mess, hopefully someone bothers to read this and could help me, i really want to play this.
From what I can tell from your specs I can't imagine why Minecraft would be lagging so bad.
One thing you can do is install Optifine. That seems to boost FPS just by simply installing it!
Another thing you can do, which is a tad more complicated, is adding more RAM to your game.
To do that, go into your game launcher, click Launch Options (At the top of the window, but you may have to click a dropdown), enable Advanced Settings, click a profile (Whichever one you use. You will only have one if you don't have any mods or optifine installed, but if you have more than one, figure out what one you are using.), enable JVM arguments, then change the 1 in the beginning to any number between 4 and 16 (what I recommend for anyone with as much as 32 GB of RAM. I only have 8!). If that doesn't work I don't know what to say.
Also, assuming how much RAM you have I assume you have a 64-bit Operating system, but just to verify that, is that correct. Because if not, that is probably partly why.
Minecraft may not be using your dedicated GPU, I'm assuming that you're using fancy graphics and a high render distance (Which does not play nice with integrated GPUs), you can search on the internet how to make minecraft launch with your dedicated GPU and see if that improves anything.
but i went to display adapters and only 1 graphics card iss show, my gtx 1070. are you saying its hidden? i thought since it only shows 1, thats all there is.
Please only post official modpack links. Not a 3rd party link like mediafire so others know it is the correct mod and not some modified mod that could be dangerous.
My computer only has 1 graphics card, a nvidia gefoce gtx 1070 8gb. I have 4 ram allocated in the advanced options of minecraft which is the JVM. My fps drops very badly from 200-60 in half a second, causes freezes for a second then loads back up, very annoying
i recorded a video of a problem im having, i have jvm arguements set to 4gb, even though i have 32 total. heres the video of what happens during gameplay.

i only have 1 graphics card though.
Intel CPUs come with onboard graphics, and Minecraft may be trying to use them instead.

Idk, it may be hidden but still there, and MC might be using it instead.
ill post a screenshot of ingame settings

So that's really weird. Have you tried updating/downloading your GPU drivers?
fully updated drivers, can run gta 5 on ultra with all settings maxed out.
Java updated? Also, does this happen in only in 1 modpack or vanilla as well?
its just the 1 modpack, heres the mod so you can test it yourself also.
